It is Christmas Eve at “Cafe Kinesis”, a hapless coffee house in a sleepy country town. But once a year, an odd group of men gathers together to review the year, exchange stories and blow off steam. They are men of incredible psychic abilities, and yet are determined to keep their very underused talents secret.

When an affable and starry-eyed television AD, Yone Sakurai (Masami Nagasawa) is sent on a mission to find some “real” psychics for a popular variety show, she arrives at the cafe disillusioned and frustrated at having met only charlatans and hoaxes so far.

When the coffee house men try to boost her spirits, she gradually begins to suspect something very different about them as they go about trying to conceal the silliest use of psychic power imaginable.
